A staff member told the committee New Business Item 1 is “a request by Deborah Beau for specific plan amendment approval for about 1 acre at 6 90 Franklin Road” to add a permitted use under general personal services called “special training and schooling services.” The staff member said the change is required to obtain funding associated with the education and training portion of the proposed use and that the only prerequisite before preliminary planning commission review is to hold a neighborhood meeting to notify adjacent neighbors.
