Atkinson council amends One-and-Six-Year Street Program, removes private and completed segments

The Atkinson City Council held a public hearing Oct. 7 on the city’s One-and-Six Street Program and then approved Resolution 24-05 with amendments removing two line items from the plan. Mayor Josh Erickson opened the hearing and Chris Miller of Miller & Associates, the city’s engineer, told the council the program is a prioritized list of street improvement projects over the next one to six years and that listing a project does not guarantee timing or completion.
