Staff introduced Ordinance 20-26-12 to amend the county purchasing procedures to reflect current staffing and to remove references that are no longer accurate, such as to an earlier highway engineer role. The changes add several positions the county believes should have purchasing authority, including the mapping director, EMA, central communications director, veteran service officer, health administrator and the chief public defender.
