City Manager Kurt Giles asked the council to authorize a Power Purchase Commitment through the Michigan Public Power Agency (MPPA). Councilmember Fares E. Azzam moved the authorization, supported by Mayor Pro Tem William R. Leonard; the motion passed with all ayes.
