The Whiting Select Board on June 12 authorized Town Clerk Heather Bouchard to contact the town attorney after the board reviewed an email from Torin Ethridge that said he would not pursue legal action if paid $1,500. The emergency meeting at the Whiting Town Office opened at 4:30 p.m. and lasted about 10 minutes.
