Rio Grande County authorized the Department of Social Services to apply for a Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF) grant in the amount of $22,500. Grants Specialist Denise Benavides and DSS Deputy Director Michaela Estrada presented the opportunity and noted the application deadline of June 6, 2025; the board voted to approve applying for the funding.
