The Board of Mayes County Commissioners voted to remove the county's existing burn ban on Sept. 21. Commissioner Alva Martin moved to remove the burn ban and Commissioner Steve Grossman seconded; the motion was approved with Yes votes from Martin, Grossman and Pierce.
