Martin County highlights Fire Prevention Week as fire rescue requests new apparatus

Mac, a presenter on the 2 MC podcast, said Martin County will observe Fire Prevention Week from Oct. 4–10 and that the county’s fire-rescue team is rolling out public education on safe charging for lithium-ion batteries. "our fire rescue department responds to an average of a 100 emergencies a day," Mac said, noting the volume of daily response creates urgency for outreach and equipment planning.
