Chair Laura Abstrom opened the meeting and framed the group’s immediate concern as several bridges approaching replacement windows after updated inspections. She said she found older estimates (circa 2016–2017) projecting replacement costs in the $1,000,000 range, then added: “So I'm looking at this bridge at 3,000,000.”
