Community Development director to cover duties during staff leave; multiple grant applications planned

Amy Oliver told the committee that Larkin Breckel will be on leave until the end of February 2026 and that Oliver will assume Breckel’s economic development responsibilities during that period. Oliver said staff intend to apply for several grants, including a Pre-Disaster Flood Resilience Grant to fund three hydrologic and hydraulic studies and an Open Space Management Plan for 42 flood-prone sites acquired through state and federal grants.
