The Clay County Board of Supervisors, sitting as the Board of Equalization, approved a permissive exemption for Sutton Community Church following a short public hearing on Feb. 17, 2026. The hearing was opened by a motion at 8:45 a.m. and closed at 8:50 a.m.; the final approval vote was unanimous after Supervisor Scott Bitterman joined the meeting.
