Several residents used the public-comment period to urge the Commission to impose a moratorium on data centers and related projects. Jeff Morona "requested that the Commission consider a moratorium on data centers, cryptocurrency facilities, and power plant activity." Nicki Johnson-Corley specifically requested a moratorium on data centers and biomass facilities and asked the Commission to fight Project Midspan and Project River.
