County auditor reports post-election audit matched reported results
Story County Auditor Lucy Martin reported the post-election audit for the Sept. 8 special elections was held Sept. 15, 2026, and that the audit "matched perfectly" the reported results; she also said no provisional ballots were cast.

Story County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Lucy Martin informed the Board of Supervisors on Sept. 15, 2026, that the county conducted a post-election audit for the Sept. 8 special elections for the Ballard and Roland-Story school districts and that the audit "matched perfectly as they have for all post-election audits held in Story County to date." She also said no provisional ballots were cast in those elections.
