An attendee asked the commissioners about the county27s status on data center ordinances; the question was raised by Gary Edenfield during the Aug. 18 meeting. Chairman Shane Taylor responded that Spaulding County has a model ordinance that provides guidelines but does not prohibit data centers, and said Bacon County needs a neutral study to inform any ordinance the county might adopt.
