Flagstaff Open Space Commission hears PROS master plan update, schedules outreach
Commissioners heard a Kimley-Horn presentation on the Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Events (PROS) master plan, learned the project is in a needs-assessment phase with adoption targeted for summer 2027, and were invited to a public workshop on Oct. 22.

Chair Jackie Thomas opened the Flagstaff Open Space Commission meeting and introduced a Kimley-Horn team leading the city’s PROS master plan update. Consultant Marissa Pellegrini described the project as "essentially a long range plan" meant to identify short-, mid- and long-term recommendations across parks, recreation, open space, programs and operations for the next decade.
