The Superintendent presented Strategic Commitment No. 5—developing learner-centered strategies to create healthy learning and working environments—and cited a student example from Milpitas High School. The student, Marlene Pinedosa, was interviewed by Mr. Forstner and held up as an example of how learners "see themselves" in what they learn and the district’s activities.
