The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors voted to adopt Resolution #09-22-26-01, establishing maximum deposit amounts for the county’s designated depositories. The resolution names multiple banks and caps, including Iowa State Bank Algona ($25,000,000), Security State Bank Algona ($20,000,000), and Farmers State Bank Algona ($18,000,000). The motion to approve the resolution was made by Supervisor Amber Garman, seconded by Supervisor Howard Haas, and carried on a roll-call vote with Supervisors Waechter, Garman, Stecker, Haas and Chairman Carter Nath voting yes.
