McLeod read a proclamation designating Sept. 17–23, 2025 as Constitution Week in Allen Park and urged citizens to "reaffirm the ideals the framers of the Constitution had in 1787, by vigilantly protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us." The proclamation, read into the record by McLeod, invoked the Constitution as the document that underpins local authority and civic life.
