Board approves consent agenda, several policy updates, MOU and contracts in routine session
The Calhoun County board approved the consent agenda, a procurement-policy update, a personnel leave policy change, the student calendar, a wellness policy renewal, an MOU for behavior services and an architect agreement for Saks High gym roofing in a series of routine votes.

After presentations the board moved through a consent agenda and a slate of routine approvals. The consent agenda (previous meeting minutes and items to be discarded/stored) was approved by voice vote. The board then approved a budget amendment and multiple policy updates, including a procurement policy change (policy 3.07) to adjust dollar thresholds and a revision to policy 5.09 to provide additional personal days for veteran employees with 15+ years of service.
