Planning commission backs agrivoltaics definition update to match state law

Staff told commissioners the proposed zoning-text amendment updates the county’s definition of agrivoltaics to match the uniform definition enacted by the General Assembly. Neil explained that the change follows House Bill 508, which "was approved by the governor on 04/06/2026 and took effect on 07/01/2026."
