Road foreman reports VTrans projects complete; Blaktop to finish paving in early September
Road Foreman Frank Rogers reported both VTrans Grant-in-Aid projects are complete and said Blaktop will complete parking-lot and bridge paving in the first week of September; Rogers also recommended core samples for next year’s paving and proposed adding STOP signs on several tributary roads.

Frank Rogers, Pomfret’s road foreman, told the Selectboard that both VTrans Grant-in-Aid Program projects are complete and that Blaktop is scheduled to finish paving the town office parking lot and the Wayside Road bridge during the first week of September. The schedule slipped about a week because of night work elsewhere.
