Commission readies selection process for Lions Park playground art
Commission staff and AIPP subcommittee reported a juried selection for a custom playground art piece at Lions Park; the selection jury will include parents and children and the commission will review the subcommittee’s recommendation at a future meeting.

Staff told the commission that the Lions Park playground art selection will include a jury composed of parents and one or two children because the piece is intended for a playground setting. Subcommittee members said they are dedicating additional funds from small projects and reserves to increase the budget for the Lions Park installation.
