The Commissioners Court voted to approve a resolution authorizing submission of the 2026–2027 Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) grant application to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Judge Ty Prause moved for approval and Commissioner Ryan Brandt seconded; the motion carried 5–0.
