Superintendent Dr. Barber recommended that the board appoint Jennifer Netro, currently assistant principal at Woodlawn, to serve as the district coordinator for threat management, a position Dr. Barber described as "a statute required position." The board voted unanimously to approve the appointment and set an effective date of Oct. 12 so Netro can be in place before the next school board meeting on Oct. 13.
