The comprehensive plan update calls out an undersupply of housing and recommends diversifying housing types to include duplexes, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), cottage clusters, triplexes, fourplexes and townhomes as ways to address the "missing middle." Thompson described those options during his presentation and said they would expand choices and price ranges for residents.
