Staff provided a briefing on CALAFCO’s annual conference in Sacramento (Oct. 21–23, 2026), noting that registration closes Oct. 9 and hotel rooms were nearly sold out. Staff said Chair Stark and Commissioner Johnson were registered along with four staff members and that the executive officer is the commission’s voting delegate with Commissioner Johnson as alternate.
