Commissioners discussed the timeline and outreach required to secure a full count for the next decennial census and asked administration and planning staff to draft a resolution assigning responsibility for coordination. Director Freeman said the county is on schedule with address-listing and GIS preparation and recommended engaging the Community Foundation and municipal partners to avoid duplication. "We are essentially on time with what this timeline is," Freeman said, but commissioners asked for urgency and indicated they want clear metrics and a coordinating committee.
