County updates Bridge 2540 project; INDOT issued $645,280 Preliminary Engineering notice
Clerk Denise Campbell reported INDOT issued a Notice to Proceed and Purchase Order for $645,280 for preliminary engineering on Bridge 2540 and noted other bridge lettings and inspection projects with dates through 2030.

Clerk Denise Campbell briefed commissioners on multiple bridge projects. She said that for Bridge 2540 (Michigan Road) DES No. 2501452 the Notice to Proceed and a Purchase Order were received from INDOT on Aug. 20 in the amount of $645,280 for Preliminary Engineering and that a scope meeting was held Sept. 14. She also noted a separate Purchase Order for Bridge 88 (12th Road) DES No. 2201676 for $56,000 for Right of Way and land improvement and damages.
