WASAC offers fleet leasing, procurement help and EV planning for counties
WASAC told the council it can provide fleet analyses, leasing options and procurement support (including NACO Edge contracts) to help counties manage e-vehicle mandates and reduce costs; staff offered free fleet quotes and capital-advising services.

Councilors asked whether WASAC's new fleet program could help with state EV mandates. Derek Young said the fleet-and-equipment leasing partnership can analyze county fleets, generate free quotes and identify where leasing makes financial sense—particularly for high-turnover vehicles. "They're able to determine working with your ER and R manager what might make sense for your county," Marco Zeiss said.
