The Town of Salem Town Board appointed Steven Ladas to the Bancroft Public Library Board on May 13 to fill the unexpired term of trustee Rachael Armstrong. The library’s Board of Trustees requested the appointment after Armstrong’s resignation; the appointment was moved by Councilman Tom McMorris and seconded by Councilwoman Brenda Levey and carried 5-0.
