Members of the Town of Sumner Planning Board discussed required training during the open session. Ben Young reported he cannot attend a required session offered during work hours (2:00–4:00 p.m.); Nicholas Interbartolo explained a self-led option is available that involves answering questions and emailing responses back. Secretary Ashley VanAvery will send the self-led training information and asked Ben to complete it by the next Planning Board meeting. The board also noted an in-person training at the Paris Fire Department scheduled for June 24, 2026, starting at 6:00 p.m.
