The BOCC discussed the Model Traffic Code for Colorado, Revised 2024 Edition, Revision 1, with Sheriff Anne Robinson present for the item. The board chose to set a public hearing to consider the code change. County Administrator Schoen suggested May 7 or May 14, 2025; Commissioner Scott Deacon moved to hold the public hearing on May 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Rio Grande County Commissioners' meeting room, Commissioner Gene Glover seconded, and the motion carried.
