The Allegany County Board of Legislators approved three personnel resolutions on Sept. 23 creating one full‑time Accountant (PEF Grade 7) in the Office of Community Services, one full‑time Marketing and Development Assistant (General Government, Grade I) in Economic Development, and one full‑time Deputy Director of Information Technology (General Government, Grade IV a) in the IT Department. Each resolution specifies a seven‑hour workday for the latter two roles and takes effect Sept. 24, 2026.
