Director (S1) told the board the department completed 827 water samples last year and described the agent program’s expanding workload. To address capacity, the department will support nurse Caitlin as she studies for the RS exam; the director said Caitlin will work toward certification over the next six months and staff will manage duties to avoid overburdening her. “We had a total of 827 water samples total that we did this year,” she reported.
