County staff presented the proposed FY 2026–27 general fund budget at a Sept. 29 public hearing, saying the plan would total $27,979,670.50. "Commissioners, the FY 2627 public release proposes a balanced general fund budget of $27,979,670.50," the staff member presenting the budget said during the hearing.
