County approves change orders to extend courthouse project and record fairgrounds electrical work

Facilities Manager Kevin Jolley (speaker 13) asked the board to approve change order #3 on the prevailing-wage contract with Convergent Technologies LLC (construction contract 6869) to extend the courthouse project completion date from Aug. 21 to Sept. 30 because subcontractor schedules delayed work. Jolley told commissioners the contractor expects to finish by the adjusted date and asked the board to authorize the change.
