Veil Kolovich, supervisor for Tooele County senior centers, told the council the centers adopted a "1 Kind Act a Day" pledge and organized activities to encourage daily acts of kindness, from helping visitors to collecting grocery bags that seniors wove into mats donated to homeless shelters. "We took a pledge of kindness where we were intentionally do an act of kindness every day," Kolovich said, describing paper-chain displays and participant-led donation drives.
