The town will add an update to Section 10-10-70 (Burning Prohibited) to September's agenda after Fire Department representative Adam Ferrell described a new free two-week burn-permit program to trustees.

Adam Ferrell told the board that the Fire Department has launched a program to issue free burn permits that last two weeks; the board agreed to place an amendment to Section 10-10-70 of the Pierce Municipal Code on the September agenda for formal adoption. "This is free, and it’s a 2-week permit," Ferrell said.
