Commissioners approve one-year Everbridge alert-notification arrangement
York County approved a one-year Everbridge arrangement to maintain alert notifications while transitioning to the South Central alert cluster, allowing neighboring counties and dispatch to send county alerts when needed.

Jean Engle, the county emergency management director, briefed commissioners on the Everbridge alert-notification arrangement. She said York and Seward will remain billed together this year while the county transitions to the South Central alert cluster so neighboring counties and dispatch can send alerts on York County’s behalf when needed.
