Commissioners approve two courthouse change orders, table one pending options
River City presented three change orders totaling $16,158 for courthouse work (catwalk extension, restroom vents, LED ground floodlights). The board approved PCO 17 ($6,825) and PCO 19 ($5,851) and tabled PCO 18 (restroom vents, $3,482) to explore options that might reduce roof penetrations and cost.

River City representative Travis Evans briefed the board on three proposed change orders for the courthouse renovation. He said PCO 17 would extend a catwalk to service a new third‑floor HVAC unit so technicians could reach equipment without removing ceiling materials; PCO 18 would vent restroom exhaust fans through the roof to comply with current building code; and PCO 19 would replace existing ground floodlights with LED fixtures.
