Court approves raise in not-to-exceed amount for forensic-pathology contract

The court approved an amendment to the county's service agreement with Forensic Pathology Services, LLC that raises the not-to-exceed amount so the provider can continue performing services for the medical examiner's office. Medical examiner staff explained that when the contract was originally set, the competitive-bidding threshold required the court to approve amounts above $50,000, but the state recently raised that threshold to $100,000.
