Vernon County launches 'Driftless Bound' program to recruit out-of-state workers

Amy Oliver, Vernon County—ommunity development director, told the county board that the county has launched Driftless Bound to attract working households from outside Wisconsin using state talent recruitment grant funds. "Vernon County did not just decide to give cash incentives to outsiders," Oliver said, adding the county followed state grant eligibility rules.
