Select Board approves steering committee for multi‑phase facility project

The Carrabassett Valley Select Board approved a steering committee on April 15 to guide a proposed facility project through a study phase, site plan review, permitting and construction. Bob Luce outlined a phased approach that includes study, town approval, securing money, construction and eventual management; the committee would remain until construction completion and then sunset, with the Recreation Committee taking over.
