Michiana fire chief demonstrates Community Connect emergency-profile program

New Buffalo Township Fire Chief Jamie Flick moved up on the agenda to demonstrate Community Connect, an online service that lets residents store contact and medical information linked to their address for emergency responders. "This program is designed to put information you want the fire department to know at your address, such as your name, address, phone number or keyholders name and number in case of an emergency," Flick said, and directed residents to the township fire-department site for sign-up.
