City Attorney Defoyd read Ordinance 2026-2 on first reading, which addresses monthly salaries and an auto allowance for the mayor and council. Council Member Gregg Robinson moved to retain the mayor’s pay at $400 per month plus a $425 auto allowance and Council Member Garcia moved to retain council pay at $350 per month plus a $425 auto allowance; both motions passed on first reading with a 5–0 vote.
