President Newnam reported two letters of interest for the Planning Commission opening from Mark Courtney and John Farwell. Both applicants gave brief overviews of their qualifications and reasons for seeking the seat. After discussion, President Newnam moved to appoint Mark Courtney; Commissioner Deakins seconded and the Council voted 5–0 in favor.
