Board hears CRP grant update; $75,000 available for energy-efficiency projects

Jon Denekamp reported on a public forum where Alexander Brown of the Springvale office presented on a CRP funding round that opens Dec. 17. Denekamp said the representative can assist with grant writing and will work with the town through March. He described $75,000 in available funds and examples such as heat pumps, energy‑efficient appliances and other retrofit measures that may not require engineering studies.
