Joe Lopat, principal of Canyon Rim Elementary, told the governing board his school was selected as a model school and presented at a national conference in Orlando. Lopat said Canyon Rim is the district's top-performing elementary campus on state measures and that the team's presentation drew more than 200 attendees at the conference.
