During council member matters, Councilmember Judy Powell reminded attendees that Georgia Cities Week will run April 20-25, 2026. Powell said the Mayor's Reading Club will be held at the Leesburg Library on April 23 at 5:30 p.m.; the Georgia Municipal Association will host a puppet show for younger children and refreshments (hot dogs, chips, and a drink) will be available while supplies last.
