LAPAC urges tying Cobb Mountain plan to wildfire mitigation and CWPP process
Members told staff to treat wildfire safety and evacuation planning as central to the Cobb Mountain local area plan and to align the plan with the forthcoming community wildfire protection plan (CWPP). They want plan language that allows priorities to evolve with CWPP updates.

Several LAPAC members repeatedly identified wildfire resilience and evacuation planning as the highest community priority in the survey results and in discussion. Chris Nettles said that wildfire concerns should be woven through every section of the area plan rather than treated as a separate item.
